Employment History

DELOITTE IRELAND

Sept 2017 to present - Technology Consultancy
I acted as the lead for the systems integration team on a large scale business transformation project for a facilities maintenance client. My responsibilities here included design, implementation and support of multiple system integrations, including the automated scheduling optimization engine as well as multiple customer integrations. For the systems integration work, I used the IBM integration bus, programming in Java and ESQL, which allowed me to interface with the core Maximo system, Microsoft Exchange, FTP servers and other Web APIs.

Before working in the systems integration role, I worked as a technology analyst - assisting the team with technical work. This work consisted of doing technical gap analysis, making changes to enterprise level Java, writing python scripts, as well implementing a source control system for the team and delivering supporting documentation for the version control process.

Upon completion of the first phase, I trained both junior and more senior members of the project team, acting as a mentor and communicating the strategic direction of the project to them. I also participated in knowledge transfer sessions with the client, so they could support parts of the system themselves.
